Self-Improvement
Imperfection is what we are made of, so whatever we lack, we try to make it up by altering ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally. Self-improvement helps us gain our confidence and changes how others will perceive us.
Low self-esteem gets in the way of improvement. That is why we should avoid feeling negative about ourselves and never underestimate our capabilities. Allowing yourself to be pulled back or if you will let other’s criticisms wash over you, it will unlikely help you move on and do something new.
Every time we scan the pages of a fashion magazine, we see how others are gifted with pretty looks. We tend to clam ourselves and hide on our comfort zone. But why not make the most of what we have? That instead of feeling sorry for ourselves and whine about how unlucky we are, why not create a new image by changing your hairstyle, outfit and attitude. Total makeover will not happen overnight. It is a continuous learning process and leaving a room for development is a sign of acceptance that we want to enhance ourselves for the better.
We can also think of our strengths and how we can make use of it and identify our weaknesses so that we can improve on them. We have to think positive thoughts to uplift our mood because this can greatly affect our daily disposition. We can also try to list all our accomplishments, acknowledge that what we have done in the past is a great deal because we have the ability to do what others can and cannot do. All we need is to trust ourselves first before we can persuade others to believe in us.
